A Benefit for Caffè Lena featuring Music, Theater, Poetry, Comedy, Dinner, Dessert & an Auction!
Forty-eight years ago Caffè Lena opened its doors on a quiet side street in Saratoga Springs. The Caffè’s bohemian style was a bold departure for the quiet downtown, but students and neighbors gave it a chance and fell in love--with the music, with each other, and with the magical little venue itself. Nearly five decades later, Caffè Lena has made Saratoga the proud hometown of the country’s longest running folk club.
It is our great fortune to be embraced by a community that treasures the businesses and landmarks that make it unique.
This special event is our chance to pay tribute to Saratoga in the way we do it best: with songs, poetry, stories, comedy, and cake. Our neighborhood restaurants will provide you with dinner before the show, and an auction will feature services and products from local businesses. Come join the celebration and help raise money to keep Saratoga’s folk club going strong! |
